Another one of the clown comic stories. That makeup counter was killer to draw! I'm really happy with how this page came out, though. Hooray for Ears department store!

another illustration for 365observations.com, one of my clients.

still more experimenting with color. i'm super duper happy with how this came out. the color is marker for the most part, but then I added a bit of digital color on a transparent layer with the marker color as a layer set to multiply. I tried to get the city glow this way. the obama face is the most obviously photoshopped part. i think i'm finally getting the hang of how digital color can enhance analog stuff without making it look too digital.

something i did for 365observations.com, a client of mine. because coloring stuff on the computer gives me bad RSI, i thought it would be fun to try using markers on a piece for him. I think it came out pretty well. i definitely learned a lot from doing it. note to self: next time just use the bristol board instead of the typing paper; it won't wrinkle so much.
